This Privacy Policy describes how DailyJamm ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit dailyjamm.com. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple.
You can play every game without an account. If you never sign in, we store nothing about you on our servers. Your streaks, scores and progress stay in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to us.
Creating an account is optional. It exists so your scores can follow you between devices and so you can appear on the daily leaderboards.
Signing in is handled by Google. We never see or store your Google password.

We do not request or receive your Google contacts, calendar, files, photos, or any other Google service data. We ask only for your basic profile and email address.
DailyJamm's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
When you create an account you choose a username. Your username is public - it appears next to your score on leaderboards and is visible to anyone using the site. Choose a name you are comfortable showing publicly, and do not use your email address or real name if you would rather stay anonymous.
Usernames are automatically screened for offensive content. We may rename or remove an account whose name is abusive, impersonates someone else, or is otherwise inappropriate.
Once you have an account, we store your daily scores and summary statistics (games played, current and best streaks, best score) for each game. This is what produces the leaderboards and lets your progress follow you between devices. Scores are shown publicly alongside your username.
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers in the United States. Supabase processes this data on our behalf; see the Supabase Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us at the address below from the email address on the account. We will delete your profile, username, scores and statistics. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
You may also sign out at any time from the account menu, which removes your session from that device without deleting your data.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, general geography, device types). Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. This data is anonymized and we do not use it to identify individuals.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is actually used - which parts of a page people click and scroll to, and aggregated session replays of on-page interactions. Clarity may set cookies in your browser. We use it to find confusing layouts and broken flows, not to identify individuals, and we do not sell or share this data.
Both tools load only after you accept the cookie notice, and only on dailyjamm.com. If you have not accepted, neither one runs. You can clear the consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Microsoft describes how Clarity handles data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
DailyJamm includes links to third-party game sites (Wordle, Connections, Heardle, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
DailyJamm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of DailyJamm after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
